INVISTA Seaford Celebrates 12 Months Injury Free

SEAFORD, Del. - Aug. 16, 2011 - INVISTA Seaford’s employees have reached a significant milestone of working 12 consecutive months without experiencing a recordable injury. This accomplishment took place from August 10th, 2010 to August 9th, 2011.

“This outstanding accomplishment demonstrates our employees’ continued focus on identifying risks associated with their work and mitigating those risks,” said Steve Kimpton, INVISTA Seaford site manager. “All employees should be proud of this achievement as it demonstrates their commitment to an injury-free workplace, consistent with INVISTA’s strong commitment to excellence in environmental, health and safety performance.”

All INVISTA Seaford employees received individual recognition from the site leadership team, as a thanks for their contribution to the safety milestone. The site is now working toward achieving a full calendar year without a recordable injury in 2011.

INVISTA’s Seaford site produces nylon staple fiber for technical applications such as military apparel, conveyer belts used in paper manufacturing, and other specialty products.
